Shirley filled many shoes in our church family. Yes she was membership clerk and leader for the greeters and tended to the Singles Ministry but most of all she was a friend to many. Shirley was a private woman but as I got to know her I think she just didn't want people fussing over her. I am so saddened but the news of her leaving us so soon and grateful I had spoken with her a few days earlier. Although a short friendship it is a memorable one and I have joy and peace in knowing I will see her again. Your sister in Christ, Joan Smith
