I started to build my Tribute to Shirley Knox today. I found her to be a settled woman in the Lord. She loved life from what I could see, having been a short friendship. Private in many ways, but I considered that a way of diverting attention from herself. She was always ready to help someone else.. She had wonderful relationships with her singles group and enjoyed many outings with them. Shirley loved life and her friends and above all her Lord. She once said "My spiritual walk is a daily journey. The opportunity to witness God's grace and mercy to others is my goal. In the midst of these troubled days and life's crisis moments, it's comforting to read Ps.46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." What more can we say about Shirley, she fulfilled her mission.
